ALOE VERA POWDER
Aloe Vera is available in different forms and concentrations. We use aloe vera in powder, concentrated 200:1 (so the powder is 200 times more concentrated than the fresh plant). During the manufacture process, aloe vera is rinsed to remove remnants of aloin and dehydrated. The Aloe Barbadensis Gel is then dried and ground into powder.
Aloe vera is rich in vitamins (B complex, vitamin C), folic acid, carotene (a precursor of vitamin A). It is filled with polysaccharides that are hydroscopic and form a strong meshed structure which is very moisturizing to the skin. The skin moisturizing activity is supported by soothing and calming features, what makes aloe vera the perfect natural emollient. It helps skin to heal after burns and sunburns by stimulating fibroblast and connective tissue formation, and by stimulating the epidermal growth and repair process. It is perfect for dehydrated skin, delivering the oxygen deep to the skin cells, nourishing it with vitamins and minerals. Last but not least, aloe vera exhibits antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity as well. It is antibacterial and antiseptic, acting against a number of different bacteria and fungi.
